1. We mix turpentine in our paint because the paint will be apllied easier and it will dry slower.
2. If you mix thinner in the paint, it will make the paint dry quickly.
3. You have to sand the floor or the surface that you want to paint with this sandpaper first, then you can apply the paint.
4. The job will turn out better with a paintbrush rather than a paint roller.

We put the turpentine into the paint to help painting more easily. The turpentine makes a smooth movement when you paint but doesn't help the paint to dry quickly. But If you want a quick dry painting, I suggest you mix the paint with thinner instead.
Moreover, before you do all the paint work, you need to polish the wood with a sandpaper to remove the rough surface. This will give you a better result. Also make sure that you use a proper paintbrush. Certain type of brush is for oil vanish which is not good for ordinary painting.
