1.phew, we catched daddy in a nick of time. We almost miss him.
2. If you want to use those sentences ----------
If we're a second late, daddy won't wait for us. --- ok
daddy nearly gone. ------ Daddy is nearly gone.

Daddy almost doesn't wait for us.

Let's go to the car.
Let's go into the car.
Correction #1 Phew, We caught daddy in a nick of time. We almost miss him.
โฮ! รี มันยอดมาก ..... in a nick of time. ตรงจายยย
ข้อ 2 พี่นึกถึง almost เหมือนกันแต่แต่งไม่ออก อิ อิ Daddy almost doesn't wait for us. ถูกใจหลายเด้อ
เพิ่มข้อ 1 ตรงประโยคอุทานนิดนะคะ ใช้ luckily เฉย ๆ ก็ได้ค่ะ
Daddy is nearly gone.

ทำไมมันไม่เป็น has nearly gone ค่ะ
เพราะเคยถามไว้ว่า 's gone ย่อมาจากอะไร ------> v. to have + gone ....

งง ค่ะ รบกวน คุณครูตอบอีกรอบนะค่ะ
พูดถึงกระทู้เก่าของคุณหลิงก่อนนะค่ะ

It's gone เป็นได้ทั้ง it is gone และ it has gone ค่ะ

Daddy is nearly gone = Daddy has nearly gone

อธิบายแกรมม่าไม่เป็น เป็นแต่แกรมมั่ว เลยเอาลิ้งค์นี้มาแปะให้ดูนะค่ะ

Would you tell me what is the difference between

he is gone The verb here is 'is'. 'Gone' is used here as an adjective. It's like saying 'he is tall' or 'he is finished'.

he has gone. 'has gone' is a verb form, the present perfect. The sentence means that sometime in the past, he went, so now he's not here.
