ก็เลยเปิดหาคำว่า pilgrimage ว่าแปลว่าอะไร เค้าแปลว่า การเดินทางเพิ่อไปนมัสการสิ่งที่เคารพในศาสนา
แล้วถ้าสมมุติเราไปวัดพระแก้ว เราบอกว่า I have a pilgrimate at Wat Pra Kaew. ได้มั้ยคะ ใช้ในความหมายเดียวกันรึเปล่า

pilgrimage แปลว่าการไปแสวงบุญ ส่วนมากจะบ่งบอกถึงว่าต้องเดินทางไป เอาความหมายของภาษาอังกฤษมาให้นะคะ

ในความหมายของแม่อ้อ จะไปทำบุญที่วัดพระแก้วหรือป่าวค่ะ ถ้าไปทำบุญ น่าจะใช้คำว่า make offering นะค่ะ

ถึงว่าล่ะ ไม่เคยได้ยินใครใช้คำนี้เลย ที่แท้มันก็ศัพท์สูงเกินไป
อ้อแค่จะบอกว่าไปเคารพสักการะวัดพระแก้วน่ะค่ะ
แต่ด้วยความที่ dict ไทยแปลว่า การเดินทางเพิ่อไปนมัสการสิ่งที่เคารพในศาสนา (ใช้ dict อังกฤษแล้วแปลไม่ออกค่ะ)
ก็เลยทำให้เข้าใจว่าใช้คำนี้ได้ด้วยรึเปล่า
