ต้นทุน และ กำไร

เล่นค้าขาย   ถามหลังจากการเล่นจบแล้ว 

1. What is your capital?  /  How much is your capital?  (ต้องใช้ is หรือ was )

  ต้นทุนของหนูกี่บาท

2. What is your profit? / How much is your profit? / How much money did you get from business?

  ได้กำไรกี่บาท

3. How much money did you lose? 

  ขาดทุนกี่บาน 

4. เขาเป็นคนไทยเชื้อสายจีน  พูดว่าอย่างไร

5.  He has graduated from Nida University. The next friday is his graduation day. He will get the master's  degree. 

 เขาเรียนจบจากนิด้า วันศุกร์หน้าเป็นวันรับปริญญาของเขา  เขาจะได้รับปริญญาโท

   cost price แปลว่า ราคาต้นทุน

   capital คือเงินลงทุนและหลักทรัพย์ทั้งหมดที่ใช้ในการเริ่มต้นกิจการ

2.  How much is your profit?

3. How much did you lose?

4. He is Thai-Chinese.

5. He graduated from  National Institute of Development Administration. The commencement (graduation ceremony) will be held on this Friday. He will receive a (master) degree (in ชื่อปริญญา) on that day.

1. ต้นทุน ใช้ cost อย่างเดียวก็ได้นะครับ เช่น How much is the cost of your shirt?  (ต้นทุนเสื้อตัวเท่าไหร่)

2. อีกคำของคำว่า "เชื้อสาย" ที่ใช้กันบ่อย เช่นคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนคือ Thai of Chinese descent  เช่น She is a Thai of Chinese descent.  คำว่า descent ในที่นี้เป็น noun แปลว่า เชื้อชาติดั้งเดิม   อีกตัวอย่างเช่น คนอังกฤษเชื้อสายอินเดีย : There are many English people of Indian descent living in London.
