This topic depends on sooooooo many factors !!!! factor 1) Your child's learning abilities 2) home and languages being used in his/her enviroment (very important) 3) choice of school and school's program 4) How well do you know and understand the THAI - education 5) What are you Expectation of your child and his/ her school?
Every child learning Capabilities and Abilities are very different. The School learning Enviroment plays an Important roll in a child learning and developing more than you know.
A bilingual School is STILL ...very much a THAI school .....with Thai sets of curriculum ... It is strictly controled by the M.O.E (Ministry of Education ) To answer your question and from my onw personal opion.........It is possible that your child will be able to understand English (to a certain level) and communicated the english language up to the Exposure and the enviroment around him.......best not to have FAR too high of an expectation from your child or any of the "Bilingual schools" na krupps. .....................goodd luck na krupps

For those factors, in my opinion, I think
1. Child's Learning Abilities >>>> n'Jay is fast learner in all kinds of things. I always let him think and decide what he really wants. I can share / give some advise / choices but not force him what to do.
2. Environment surrounded is very important >>> that's why OTOL is the best choice for n'Jay & me.
3. School and Its Program >>> We come to the right way now ... n'Jay enjoys going to school, playing with friends, contributing any activities, etc. He likes to go to school :)
4. No comment for this factor ... Be good at both Thai and English is OK :) but there are some concerns : a) n'Jay b) school and c) me and environment :) >>> we have to work together.
5. No expectation with n'Jay ... Let him try the best and be happy ..... it's the best life for his kindergartener :)
Oh No.....Why would I get Mad ....? We all have an opinion and we all should have plenty to say when it come to our children's well being chai mai krupps......?
What I was trying to inform you was a rather a simple message. I hope that you have had enough knowledge about the Thai Educational "Standard" along with the rules regulations implemented by the MOE. Bi-Lingual schools are still very much a Thai school only with an incresed in the number of English classes provided by the school. The Standard or Quality of Teaching is something that I can not say because each of the school are different and this is something that you as a parent must try to find out the true quality of each of the schools that you are interested in and not to Trust only what you have heard through "Advertisements"...."Never to judge a book by its cover" good luck with finding the school for your child.
"never to judge a book by its cover" that is very good phase.
As i am living in japan i can not go to see or check school by myself in thailand.I can only check it through by internet.then i really confuse how exactly the bi-linggual school is ? Then I would like to ask the people who let their children go to bi-lingual school that how the school is?
and thank you very much for your opinion.
