Don’t  interrupt./ Don’t butt in

Mom :  (Mom is speaking with Kid A and then Kid B interrupts )

Kid B : Mom  look at me.

Kid A : Hey ! I am talking to Mom/ I am talking with Mom. Don’t  interrupt./ Don’t butt in.

Mom : Don’t interrupt the conversation. Please wait until I am finished speaking. O.K?

Note : Talking to Mom  (British English), Talking with Mom (American English)

………………………………………………….

Mom : ( Mom is speaking with her friend on her cell phone and kid A interrupts)

Kid A : (Pulls Mom’s shirt) Mom. Can I play a game on your cell phone.

Mom : Honey. I am using the phone. Please wait until I am finished using it.

Don’t interrupt me.

And don’t get my attention by pulling my shirt. It’s not nice to do that.

Kid A : But you speak for too long. I have waited for too long already.

When can I play with it/ a game on your cell phone.

Mom : Please be reasonable. I am talking to my friend.

It’s about grown up matters and very important.

You are too young to understand how important it is.

Which is more important : what I have to do or what you want?

Anyway, never do that again. Please be patient.

Kid A : If you don’t treat me nicely, I won’t treat you nicely either. O.K?/

If you’re not nice to me, I won’t be nice to you either.

Mom : Honey. Don’t talk like that/ Don’t say that.

I am sorry I hurt your feelings.

It doesn’t mean that you can play game whenever you are free.

I don’t want you to strain your eyes.

Note :   A grown up matter./  Grown up things.

Don't headbutt me. It really hurts!

Don' t interrupt !

Don't butt  in

Don' t interrupt

Don' t interrupt

" May I interrupt you for a second?"
