ความเห็นส่วนตัว skip มีหลายความหมายนะคะ เช่น

The students skip the class มีความหมายว่า เด็กนักเรียนโดดเรียน

skip = to fail to attend

 

ส่วนประโยคข้างบน

Thai class was skipped มองได้ 2 มุมมองนะคะ

1. วิชาภาษาไทยในตารางเรียนได้ถูกข้ามไป ละเลยไป ซึ่งอาจจะไม่มีเรียนในคาบเรียนนั้นหรืออาจจะเรียนวิชาอื่นแทน แต่ไม่มีการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทยแน่นอนเนื่องจากคุณครูภาษาไทยไม่อยู่

2. คุณครูวิชาภาษาไทยไม่ได้เข้าร่วมชั้นเรียน ซึ่งถ้าคุณครูไม่ได้เข้าสอนก็ไม่น่าจะมีการเรียนการสอนค่ะ

แต่ในกรณีที่ B เป็นผู้สอนเพียงคนเดียว ถ้าไม่เข้าสอน คือไม่มีการเรียนการสอนเกิดขึ้น
จึงแนะนำให้ใช้คำว่า cancel ค่ะ
