What are boogers for?
A: Its actually the defensive process of the nose. Your body secretes mucus for the inside of your nose. This layer protects the constantly wet area inside the nose and captures foreign material like dust and makes solid matter, Boogers.
Your mucus should be clear or white - if you notice odd colors like red, yellow, or green, it usually means an infection, so you should see a doctor if this happens

Why do you call boogers boogers?
A:its just a random american term they made up

Are boogers the same as eye boogers?
A:in affect yes! 'boogers' are a collection of rubbish that has entered the nose, and matters together; it then kind of works as a protector of anything else getting up there.
Same for the eye, but doesn't necessarily work as a protector, But is a collection of rubbish that has entered the eye!!
