ณ.ทุ่งกว้างบนภูเขา ครอบครัวกระต่ายกำลังเดินเล่นด้วยกันอย่างมีความสุข
ลูกกระต่ายบอกพ่อกระต่ายว่า"พ่อจ๋าเราไปดูพระจันทร์กันไหม"
"ไปสิ ไปสิ"พ่อกระต่ายตอบ "แต่ต้องเดินไปที่ภูเขาลูกโน้นนะ"
ครอบครัวกระต่ายพากันเดินไปดูพระจันทร์ ระหว่างทางพบแม่ช้าง พ่อกระต่ายถามแม่ช้างว่า
"แม่ช้าง แม่ช้าง เธอจะไปดูพระจันทร์กัยฉันไหม" "ไปสิ ไปสิ" แม่ช้างตอบ
ครอยครัวกระต่ายและแม่ช้างพากันเดินไปดูพระจันทร์ ระหว่างทางพบแม่วัว พ่อกระต่ายถามแม่วัวว่า
"แม่วัว แม่วัว เธอจะไปดูพระจันทร์กับฉันไหม" "ไปสิ ไปสิ" แม่วัวตอบ
( ประโยคจะซำกับบรรทัดที่๔ ๕ แต่จะเพิ่มสัตว์ทีละตัว คือ พ่อม้า พ่อหมู หมาหนุ่ม แมวสาว และ แม่ไก่)
((ขอประโยค"แม่ไก่กำลังออกไข่" ด้วยค่ะ)
ครอบครัวกระต่าย แม่ช้าง แม่วัว พ่อม้า พ่อหมู หมาหนุ่ม แมวสาว และ แม่ไก่ พากันเดินไปดูพระจันทร์
พระจันทร์ขึ้นที่ขอบฟ้าแล้ว สัตว์ต่างๆพากันร้อง "ไชโย" "พระจันทรืลอยอยู่ใกล้แค่นี้เอง"
"โอ้โห พระจันทรืดวงกลมโตเบ้อเริ่มเทิ่มเลย" จบแล้วค่ะ
นิทานของ รศ.เกริก ยุ้นพันธ์ ตอนนี้ลูกสาวเล่าเรื่องนี้เป็นภาษาไทยได้แล้ว แม่อยากลองเล่าเป็นอังกฤษค่ะ

“let’s go” the big hare said “ but we have to cross to the other mountain over there”
Then, the hare family kept walking and they met the elephant on the way to see the moon. Therefore, the big hare invited the elephant to join with them “ Elephant! Elephant! Don’t you want to see the moon with us?”
“of cause” elephant said.
So the hare family and the elephant kept walking to see the moon.
แล้วก็เพิ่มสัตว์ไปเรื่อย ๆ
The moon was rising up at horizon, all animals were roaring “ cheer! cheer!”
“the moon is very huge and close to us”

Hen is laying eggs แม่ไก่กำลังออกไข่

The rabbit baby said to the rabbit father “Daddy, let’s see the moon together."
Ok ok, the rabbits father said. But we have to walk to that mountain over there".

The rabbit family are walking to see the moon. On the way they found the elephans mother. The rabbit father asked the elephens mother, would you like to go see the moon with us.
Yes yes elephants mother said.

The Rabbits family and the elephants family are walking together to see the moon, on the way, they found the cows mother. The rabbits father asked, Would you like to go see the moon with us.Yes yes, the cows mother said.

แล้วก็แล้วก็เพิ่มสัตว์ไปเรื่อย ๆ ตามที่คุณราวดีบอกคะ

The moon was rising up at horizon, all animals were roaring “ cheer! cheer!” The moon is floating close to us. Oh !! wow the full moon so big.
