คะแนนสอบ

1. คะแนนสอบของแต่ละวิชาใช้ mark  เช่น  The total mark of math. is 20 marks.

2. ถ้าคะแนนที่เป็นเปอร์เซ้นต์รวมของทุกวิชา  เช่น  เทอมนี้ได้ 85 %  ใช้อะไรค่ะ

3. ถ้าเป็นเกรด A - D ใช้คำว่า Grade A  หรือเปล่า

4. คำว่า score ใช้บอกคะแนนในการเล่นก๊ฬาทุกชนิด หรือเปล่า

5. You are at the top of your classroom in math.  คุณได้คะแนน top ในห้องเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์

1.  จะใช้ mark หรือ score ก็ได้ครับ  แต่ส่วนใหญ่ใน American English จะใช้ score  มากกว่า mark ที่ใช้ใน British English  แต่ที่เขียนมาก็เห็นด้วยครับ

2.  เทอมนี้ได้ 85%  ->  I got a mark/score of 85% in math exam. หรือ I got 85% in math exam.

3.  ได้ครับ

4.  ได้ครับ  เพราะอย่างใน Longman Dictionary ก็ให้ความหมาย "score"ที่เกี่ยวกับกีฬาไว้ว่า :  the number of points that each team or player has won in a game or competition.

5.  You got the top mark/score in math class.  หรือจะใช้ "highest" แทน "top" ก็ได้นะครับ   หรือจะใช้ top เป็น noun ก็ใกล้เคียงกับของคุณรัชนีคือ  You are the top of math class.

ข้อ 2  ขอถามอีกรอบนะคะ  85 % ของคะแนนรวมทั้งหมด (ทุกวิชาที่เรียน) I got 85% in total exam. ได้ไหมค่ะ

ถ้าบอกว่า I got 85% in total exam. มันก็ไม่ผิด grammar นะครับ แต่ความหมายว่า "ทุกวิชาที่เรียน" น่าจะใช้ all exams มากกว่า  โดยอาจใช้ "total" มาขยาย 85% แทนเป็น
