- Act your age! ทำตัวให้สมวัยหน่อย / Behave more maturely! often said to a child who's acting like an even younger child; Johnny was pinching his sister. His mother finally said "Johnny, act your age!
- After you หลังคุณละกัน / a polite way of encouraging someone to go ahead of one's self, a polite way of indicating that someone else should or can go first; Bob stepped back and make a motion with his hand indicating that Mary should go first. "After you" said Bob.
- Am I right? เเล้วถูกมั๊ยหล่ะ? / Isn't that so? Right? (a way of demanding a response and stimulating further conversation);
John: Now this is the kind of thing we should be doing, am I right?
Sue: Well, sure. I guess.
- Anyone I know? Anybody I know? มีใครที่ชั้นรู้จักมั๊ย? / A way of asking 'who';
Sally: Where were you last night?
Sue: I had a date.
Sally: Anyone I know?
Sue: Yes.

Sally: You're going to finish this before you leave tonight, aren't you?
Tom: Anything you say.
- Anytime you are ready เมื่อไหร่เมื่อนั้น / an indication that the speaker is waiting for the person spoken to make the appropriate move;
Mary: I think it's about time to go.
Bill: Anytime you're ready.
