- นั่นกองอะไร (ลูกถาม)

มีการก่อสร้างถนน เพื่อทำท่อระบาย รถตักดินได้ขุดดินมากองไว้หลายกองคล้ายภูเขา  เมื่อวางท่อเสร็จ คนงานก็จะนำกองดินกลับไปถมที่ขุดมา เพื่อให้ถนนเรียบเหมือนเดิม

What are those piles?

มีการก่อสร้างถนน เพื่อทำท่อระบาย
- There's a road construction. They're making a sewage system.

รถตักดินได้ขุดดินมากองไว้หลายกองคล้ายภูเขา
- They dig the ground with that digger and put the soil in piles just like mountains.

เมื่อวางท่อเสร็จ คนงานก็จะนำกองดินกลับไปถมที่ขุดมา เพื่อให้ถนนเรียบเหมือนเดิม
- When they finish placing the underground pipes, they will cover them with those soil again and the road surface will be as smooth as before.

Note : ร่องที่ขุดเป็นแนวยาวเพื่อวางท่อ  = trench [a long narrow open hole dug in the ground]

รถตักดินได้ขุดดินมากองไว้หลายกองคล้ายภูเขา

The excavators/backhoes dug the ground and piled the soil up like mountains.

เมื่อวางท่อเสร็จ คนงานก็จะนำกองดินกลับไปถมที่ขุดมา เพื่อให้ถนนเรียบเหมือนเดิม

After they are done laying pipes, the workers will fill the trench with soil from those piles so that the road will be smooth as before.
