คุณเอกเคยตอบไว้นะคะ

Time's up and time's over ใช้ up หรือ over แต่มีความแตกต่างที่

1. Over = ใช้กับเวลา ช่วงเวลา สิ้นสุดลง (= has ended) เช่น The day is over/ the long school vacation is over/ the evening is over/ the rainy season is over /etc.

2. Up = ใช้กับเวลาที่ถูกกำหนด หรือจัดไว้สำหรับสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่ง ได้ถูกใช้หมดลงหรือจบลง (= time allowed for something has ended) เช่น Time is up/ Bangkok governor's four-year term will be up shortly/ service contract is up / etc.

ถ้าเราบอกลูกว่าให้ดู TV ได้ 15 นาที แล้วพอครบเวลาเราก็บอกเค้าว่า Time's up. Let's turn off TV .

ถึงเวลาเลิกงานแล้ว รีบปิด computer เถอะ

The office hours are over.Let's turn off computer .
