tsunami

1.  เมื่อคืนลูกชายถามว่า ซึนามิ คืออะไร   คุณแม่ก็มั่วตอบไปว่า

     Earthquake is causing tsunami, tsunami is a big wave at the sea. It can destroy the buildings and hurt people.  This time tsunami wave wasn't big, nothing was destroy.  But 7 years ago, There was a big tsunami wave in southern of Thailand. It destroyed the buildings and made many people dead.

     จะอธิบายสั้นๆ แบบเข้าใจง่ายๆ นะคะ

 

 2. เก็บไว้เป็นหลักฐาน (พวกสำเนาเอกสารต่างๆ)  We will keep this copy for recheck later whenever we want. 

 

3. เขาพูดอังกฤษสำเนียงไม่ค่อยดี   His pronunciation is not so good. 

 

4. ค่าเทอมเพิ่มขึ้น   The school fee is higher/more.

1.  Tsunami is big wave caused by an earthquake under the sea.  After earthquake, sea floor moves up to create big wave that rushes toward land.  There was only small tsunami yesterday, but 7 years ago, a big one caused a lot of damage and deaths.

3.  เขาพูดอังกฤษสำเนียงไม่ค่อยดี ->  His English accent is not quite good.  (accent = สำเนียงการพูด, pronunciation = การออกเสียง)
