หมู่บ้านเด็กสองภาษา พ่อแม่สร้างได้

หมู่บ้านเด็กสองภาษา พ่อแม่สร้างได้ - สองภาษาดอทคอม

These are things you can say to your child if they are doing something you don't want them to do:

- Please don't do that.  You could get hurt.

- Please don't do that.  It's very dangerous.

- Stop!

- Don't touch that!  It's hot.

- Don't touch that!  It's sharp.

- Don't touch that!  It will hurt your (finger/hand/arm/leg/foot).

- Step away from the (table/stove/fan).  It is not safe.

- Please come away from the (corner/street/table/fan/stove/dog).

- Please come out from under the (table/chair/sofa).  You could hit your head.

- Please come down from the (table/chair/toilet/tree/sofa).  You could fall.

- Mommy doesn't like it when you do that.  Please stop.

- It hurts Mommy when you do that.  It's not nice.  Please stop.

- Please stop, sit down and relax.  You are acting too crazy.

- Please stop running inside.  If you want to run I will take you to the park tomorrow.

- Please stop throwing (your food/your toys/pillows).  If you throw it then Mommy will think that you don't want it.  Then Mommy will take it away.

- Please be careful near the (fan/stove/television/computer).

- Please be careful.

You should print these out or (much better) write them down in a notebook to help you remember.  I hope these English sentences will help you keep your children (and you) safe.

hi peter, these sentences are really helpful and easy to remeber. it's nice to have someone native in our site. thank you very much.
Glad they are helpful to you. You write like a native speaker. Where are you from?
Pete, i'm thai, originally from Ang Thong but currently living in Nakhon Sawan. Where are you from?
I'm from Virginia, close to Washington, D.C. But I have lived in Surat Thani for 9 years. Your English is excellent. Your writing is very impressive.
Pete, i'm flattered by your comments. However, I don't think my English is up to the standard that I want to achieve yet. So, I'm still learning my vocabs, pronunciation and a bit of grammar too. Hopefully, one day I'll be fluent in all these areas.

I have an American friend who lives here in Nakhon Sawan. We meet 4-5 times a month in a provincial park. We normally bring our kids there to play football. He calls it soccer though :-).

By the way, my name is Seksun but you can call me Sek.
Very useful,thanks ka
Thank you very much
thank you so much
thank you very much.
It's really useful, thank you kha. I would like you to write about English before go out, too. I heard someone saying to her kid " Go on your shoes", is it the same with " wear your shoes"?
Hi K. Sopana,

Good question,

You cannot say "Go on your shoes.' You can "Get on your shoes." But this is command and not very polite. The best thing to say is "Please put your shoes on."

"English before going out" is a good idea. I will write a new post for it.
thank you ka. "copy n print" ka I think it's a good idea for our to know a conversation in different situation. May I request about a connversation in making a merit, respecting the monk . Hope to see in next post. "Thanks a million"
