Brux เด็ก 2ภาษา

My son, Brux was born in Belgium, 2001. He's now 8 years old.

My husband and I decided to help him live his life easily by speaking English with him since he was born.
We sent him to Montessori school when he was 18 months old. There he has to learn 2 languages which was English & French. At that time my mom came to live with me for a while and he had a chance to learn Thai with her.
Surprisingly, he can spoke Thai just a little and not clearly enough. So this proved to me that his mother's tongue was English because he had grown up speaking English from his childhood.

Unfortunately, we had to move back to Bangkok when he was almost 3 years old.
We really appreciated Montessori theory so we did some researches and found a couple of schools as our choices.
Finally, we've chosen 'Amnuay Silpa' the bi-lingual school for our son. And he has been very much happy since.

At first he had problem communicating with others at school because he had not known much Thai vocabularies.
He would be comfortable speaking English rather than Thai. But we told him that he needed to adapt himself and learned to speak Thai. He gave himself a try and it really worked. He is now in Prathom 2 and likes to speak Thai.

I hope if somedays we have to go aboard again his English would come back easily!

Try to talk more with him/her even there is no response at all but believe me they listen of every word you said.
And READ READ READ to them, you will be surprised at the end. And always show him/her your love by saying & touching which is very important for your child.

Time is worth more than money to spend with your own child.
