ลองอ่านดูใน thefreedictionary  แล้วยังไม่กระจ่างเลยค่ะ

From the dictionary definitions. 'forest' and 'woods' refer to the same thing. In addition, a 'jungle' is a densely vegetated area of the tropics that contains trees and a lot of other tropical vegetation.

A 'jungle' (example: Amazon jungle) is usually considered to the the larger of the three items that you have listed.

1. forest  ป่าทั่ว ๆ ไปที่ตั้งอยู่บนแผ่นดิน หรือบนภูเขา
2. jungle ป่าที่มีขนาดใหญ่และหลากหลายพันธุ์พืชนา ๆ ชนิด ป่าฝนในเขตร้อน

เคยถามเพื่อนชาวต่างเหมือนกันระหว่าง forest กับ jungle ว่าเขาแยกกันอย่างไร  ได้คำตอบว่า ถ้าป่าในเขตทั่ว ๆ ไปเขามักจะเรียกว่า forest แต่ถ้าเป็นป่าที่อยู่ในแถบเขตร้อนเขาจะเรียกว่า jungle เช่นป่าในแถวอเมริกาใต้ เป็นต้น
