You can use these sentences to help your child learn better behavior:
- Please don't do that.
- Please stop doing that.
- That behavior is not appropriate.  Please stop now.
- If you don't stop doing that, Mommy will get upset.
- Please calm down.  I understand that you are upset but you need to calm down.  Then we can talk about it.
- Tell me what's wrong?  
- Okay.  You stay over there until you are not upset any more.  When you are ready I am over here.
- I can't help you with that.  I don't want you to do it.
- If you stop doing that it will make Mommy happy.
- I am going to count to three.  If you have not stopped by then you will get in trouble.
- It's time to leave.  If you want to come back here again you need to be a good boy/girl and calm down.
- When Mommy says stop, Mommy means "stop!"
- I don't want you to do that ever again.  It is very impolite/bad/inappropriate.
- It makes me happy when I see you being nice/friendly/caring/loving/giving/polite.
