หมู่บ้านเด็กสองภาษา พ่อแม่สร้างได้

หมู่บ้านเด็กสองภาษา พ่อแม่สร้างได้ - สองภาษาดอทคอม

There are many different ways to play dominoes.  If there is a certain way you play and you want me to change the dialogue to that, please let me know.  I hope this dialogue will be helpful when you play dominoes in English.

Mommy: Do you want to play dominoes?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Do you remember how to play?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Alright, tell me how to play.

Child: This and this.

Mommy: Very good.  You have to put pieces like this together.  Do you see the dots?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: How many dots are on this piece?

Child: One, two.

Mommy: How about this one?

Child: One, two, three, four.

Mommy: Can you put these two pieces together?

Child: No.

Mommy: No?  Why not?

Child: One and four.

Mommy: You can’t put one and four together?  What can you do?

Child: One and one.

Mommy: Ohhh!  You can put one and one together?  They have to be the same?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: I understand.  You have to put the same number of dots together.

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Okay.  Let’s play.  How many pieces do you want to start with?

Child: Five.

Mommy: Okay.  You take five pieces and I will take five pieces.  We put one piece in the middle to start with.

Child: I’m first.

Mommy: Okay. You can go first.

Child: This.

Mommy: How many dots is that?

Child: Three.

Mommy: And you matched it with another three.  Good job.  Now it is my turn.

Child: Okay.

Mommy: This is an eight and here is another eight.

Child: Yes. My turn.  Six.

Mommy: That is a six, but there aren’t any other sixes.  You should try a different piece.

Child: No.

Mommy: You can’t put any of your pieces down?  Then you have to take a new piece from the pile.

Child: Okay.

Mommy: It’s my turn again.  This is a nine.  Where can I put this?

Child: No.

Mommy: You’re right.  I can’t put this anywhere.  I have to take another piece from the pile, too.

Child: My turn.  Two and two.

Mommy: Very good.  The two’s match. What are you doing?

Child: My turn.

Mommy: No, it’s not your turn.  It’s my turn.  You have to wait for me to finish.

Child: Okay.

Mommy: Seven matches with seven. Your turn.

Child: Five and five.

Mommy: Three and three.

Child: Ten and ten.

Mommy: One and one.

Child: Six and six.  Finished!

Mommy: What?  You’re finished already?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: I still have one piece left.

Child: I win!

Mommy: Yes, you win.  Good job.  Do you want to play again?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Dominoes is very fun.

Child: Yes.
