ไข้ไม่ลด

1.  If your fever is not less after you take fever reducer.  I have to take you to hospital.

     ถ้าไข้ไม่ลด หลังจากที่กินยาลดไข้  แม่ต้องพาหนูไปหาหมอที่โรงพยาบาล

2.  ขอแตะหน้าผากเพื่อดูว่ามีไข้หรือเปล่า

     2.1  Let me put my hand on your forehead to see if you have fever or not.

     2.2  Let me check your fever.   (พูดสั้นๆ แบบนี้ได้ไหมค่ะ)

3.  fever reducer   ยาลดไข้ทั่วไป

     -  ถ้าเป็นยาลดไข้สูง  ใช้ว่า high fever reducer  ได้ไหมค่ะ 

4.  การใช้ผ้าชุบน้ำเช็คตัวเพื่อลดไข้  ใช้คำว่าอะไรค่ะ   wipe   ได้ไหมคะ

     Let me wipe yourself pretty hard.   ต้องถูแรงนิดหน่อย

5.  แม่จะโทรไปลาป่วยที่โรงเรียนให้หนู

     I will call in sick for you at school.

6.  ยังไม่รู้ว่าต้องลากี่วัน  ต้องเช็คอาการวันต่อวัน

     I don't know exactly how many days you will take sick leave. I have to check day by day.

7.  Tonight there will be candlelight ceremony for the king and setting off firework at the playground in our village. What a shame, you get sick. you can't take part in it.

     คืนนี้จะมีพิธีจุดเทียนชัยถวายพระพรให้ในหลวงและมีการจุดพลุที่สนามในหมู่บ้านของเรา   น่าเสียดายที่หนูไม่สบาย ไม่สามารถไปได้

11.  Your breath is so hot. Because you have a high fever.

      ลมหายใจของหนูร้อน เพราะมีไข้สูง

->  Your breath is/feels so hot because you have a high fever.

 

12. You have ever got the flu for 3 years ago.

      หนูเคยเป็นไข้หวัดใหญ่มาแล้วครั้งหนึ่งเมื่อ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

-> You had flu (got the flu) once 3 years ago.

"ever" มักใช้กับประโยคคำถาม , ปฏิเสธ หรือ ประโยคที่มี If    หากเป็นประโยคบอกเล่าจะใช้ความหมายว่า "เคย"  จะใช้เป็น present perfect โดยไม่ต้องมี ever ก็ถือว่าใช้ได้แล้วครับ  เช่น  You have had flu once.  (แต่หากจะระบุเวลาในอดีตชัดเจนเช่น 3 ปีที่แล้ว  ก็ใช้ เป็น simple past tense อย่างในประโยคที่พิมพ์มานะครับ)

 

13.  You have to use your own glass. /  you have to use a separate glass. Otherwise you might spread the germ to other people.

       หนูต้องใช้แก้วของตัวเอง / แก้วที่แยกต่างหาก  ไม่เช่นนั้น หนูอาจจะแพร่เชื้อโรคให้คนอื่นได้  

->  ใช้ได้นะครับ ส่วน germ น่าจะเป็น germs  เพราะหมายถึงเชื้อโรคหลาย ๆ ตัว ครับ  หรือประโยคจะเป็นอีกแบบก็ได้เป็น  You must not share this glass with others or you'll spread the disease to them.

 

14. Last night, you watched lying down and fell asleep. You never did it, it was different from usual. Because you just got well from the flu and you are still exhausted.

    เมื่อคืนนี้ หนูนอนดูทีวีและเผลอหลับไป หนูไม่เคยเป็นแบบนี้ มันต่างจากปกติที่เคยเป็น  เพราะว่าหนูเพิ่งหายจากไข้และร่างกายยังคงอ่อนเพลียอยุ่

-> Last night you fell asleep with the TV on.  It was quite unusual for you.  I think you still feel weak (หรือ exhausted) and may not have yet fully recovered from the flu.

  ถ้าต้องการพูดว่า อย่านอน ทำอะไรบางอย่าง  สามารถใช้รูปประโยคข้างบน  ได้ใช่ไหมค่ะ

  แค่เปลี่ยน คำกริยาที่ทำ  ตามที่เราต้องการจะพูด

ได้ครับ  Don't read/ play games lying down.  หรือจะใช้เป็น  "Don't lie down to play ipad games/ to read a book"  ก็ได้ครับ

 

ส่วน Sit on the sofa and lean the backrest.  ควรจะมี preposition เช่น "against" (เป็น lean against the back rest)หลัง lean  เพราะ "lean" ถึงแม้จะมีรูปหนึ่งเป็น transitive verb แต่จะต้องมี preposition ก่อน object ครับ
