ยาแนวหลุด / ซ่อมฝ้าเพดาน

1. There is a leak in the ceiling and leave some dirt on the ceiling.

     มีน้ำรั่วที่ฝ้าเพดานและมีรอยคราบน้ำอยู่บนฝ้า

2.  It is right on the upstairs toilet.

     มันตรงกับห้องน้ำชั้นบน

3. Daddy is checking on it and finding a water leak

    คุณพ่อกำลังไปดูเพื่อหาว่าน้ำรั่วที่ไหน

4.  The floor tile grouting  came off so the water ran through the ceiling.

     ยาแนวที่พื้นกระเบื้องหลุดร่อนทำให้น้ำไหลลงฝ้าเพดาน

5.  We can't turn on water in the wet place but not in the dry place.

     เราเปิดน้ำในส่วนเปียก (ส่วนที่อาบน้ำ) ไม่ได้  แต่ส่วนแห้งใช้ได้

6.  Daddy will remove the old tile grouting and grout the floor again. After that we have to wait until it has set and we can use the wet place.

     คุณพ่อต้องขูดเอายาแนวของเก่าออกก่อน และยาแนวพื้นใหม่  หลังจากนนั้นต้องรอให้ยาแนวแห้งและเซ็ตตัว เราก็จะใช้พื้นที่ส่วนเปียกได้เหมือนเดิม

7. Don't hold some water on the floor.

    อย่าให้น้ำขังบนพื้น

8. There is a drit on ceiling so daddy have to re-plaster and re-paint the ceiling.

     มีรอยคราบน้ำบนฝ้าเพดาน คุณพ่อต้องฉาบใหม่และทาสีใหม่

->   There is a water leak above the ceiling and it has left stains on it.

หากเป็นคราบน้ำ ใช้ stain(s)  จะตรงกว่าครับ  หากเป็น dirt  จะเป็นความสกปรกแบบคราบฝุ่นจับดำ ๆ หนาๆ มากกว่าครับ

2.  It is right on the upstairs toilet.

     มันตรงกับห้องน้ำชั้นบน

->  The stains are right below the upstairs toilet.

3. Daddy is checking on it and finding a water leak

    คุณพ่อกำลังไปดูเพื่อหาว่าน้ำรั่วที่ไหน

->  Daddy is checking for the leak.

4.  The floor tile grouting  came off so the water ran through the ceiling.

     ยาแนวที่พื้นกระเบื้องหลุดร่อนทำให้น้ำไหลลงฝ้าเพดาน

->  The grout came off and water seeped through the spaces between tiles onto the ceiling below.

ยาแนวกระเบื้องใช้ "grout" ได้เลยครับ  เป็น verb ก็ศัพท์รูปเดียวกัน

5.  We can't turn on water in the wet place but not in the dry place.

     เราเปิดน้ำในส่วนเปียก (ส่วนที่อาบน้ำ) ไม่ได้  แต่ส่วนแห้งใช้ได้

->  Wet area should be kept dry at the moment, but we can continue using the dry area.

ส่วน หรือบริเวณที่ใช้เพื่อจุดประสงค์อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง จะใช้  "area"  ครับ

6.  Daddy will remove the old tile grouting and grout the floor again. After that we have to wait until it has set and we can use the wet place.

     คุณพ่อต้องขูดเอายาแนวของเก่าออกก่อน และยาแนวพื้นใหม่  หลังจากนนั้นต้องรอให้ยาแนวแห้งและเซ็ตตัว เราก็จะใช้พื้นที่ส่วนเปียกได้เหมือนเดิม

->  Daddy will remove/scrape off the old grout and grout the spaces between the tiles.  We will then wait for the grout to set before we start using the wet area in the bathroom again.

7. Don't hold some water on the floor.

    อย่าให้น้ำขังบนพื้น

->  Don't let water collect on the floor.

8. There is a drit on ceiling so daddy have to re-plaster and re-paint the ceiling.

     มีรอยคราบน้ำบนฝ้าเพดาน คุณพ่อต้องฉาบใหม่และทาสีใหม่

->  Daddy has to re-plaster and re-paint the ceiling to make the stained ceiling look like new again.

9. When we sand the surface of ceiling, some dust will float over the air and fall on furnitures. So we have to move over some sfuff or cover them with the plaster sheet.

   เมื่อเราขัดกระดาษทรายที่ฝ้าเพดาน ฝุ่นจะกระจายและเกาะตามเฟอร์นิเจอร์  ดังนั้นเราต้องย้ายของออกไปหรือคลุมด้วยพลาสติกใส

10. No big deal, it is a small area and a little bit dust.

   ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่  มันเป็นพื้นที่เล็กๆ ก็มีฝุ่นนิดหน่อยเท่านั้น

11. Look, I don't colloect water on the floor.

     ดูสิ  ไม่มีน้ำขังที่พื้นเลย

   เมื่อเราขัดกระดาษทรายที่ฝ้าเพดาน ฝุ่นจะกระจายและเกาะตามเฟอร์นิเจอร์  ดังนั้นเราต้องย้ายของออกไปหรือคลุมด้วยพลาสติกใส

->>  ลองดูแบบนี้นะครับ   Sanding ceiling surface will send dust floating around in the air, and to prevent it from settling on the furniture, we'd better move it or wrap it with plastic sheets first.

ฝุ่น หรืออะไรก็แล้วแต่ตกลงมาบนพื้นผิดสะสมตรงนั้น ใช้ "settle" ได้;   ส่วน furniture เป็น uncountable noun  (เหมือน equipment)  ดังนั้นเป็น เอกพจน์   และเวลาจะเรียกเป็นชิ้น ๆ ก็ใช้ "piece(s) of furniture" ครับ

 

 

10. No big deal, it is a small area and a little bit dust.

   ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่  มันเป็นพื้นที่เล็กๆ ก็มีฝุ่นนิดหน่อยเท่านั้น

->>  ส่วนหลังอาจจะเป็นแบบนี้นะครับ  it is a small area and it would become only a little dusty  คือใช้อธิบายว่า small area นั้นจะ dusty หน่อยเดียวครับ

 

11. Look, I don't colloect water on the floor.

ดูสิ  ไม่มีน้ำขังที่พื้นเลย 

->>  อันนี้ใช้ water เป็น ประธานเลยเป็น  Look, no water collects on the floor  ครับ
