Mommy: Do you want to play with your blocks today?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Great!  Let’s build something.

Child: Okay.

Mommy: What are you going to build?

Child: House.

Mommy: A house?  You’re going to build a house.  Wow!  Can I help you?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Can I give you this piece?

Child: Yes.  Thank you.

Mommy: You’re welcome.  I like this house.  It looks very colorful.

Child: Thank you.

Mommy: Who lives in this house?

Child: Mommy.

Mommy: I live here?  Thank you.  How about Daddy?  Does Daddy live in this house?

Child: Yes. 

Mommy: How about you?  Do you live here too?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Wonderful!  Do you want to make something else now?

Child: Yes, a plane.

Mommy: You want to make an airplane?  That’s great.  Can I help?

Child: No.

Mommy: Oh, you want to do it yourself?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Okay, I will sit and watch you.  Okay?

Child: Okay.

Mommy: That looks like a great airplane.  Can it fly?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: Can you show me how the airplane flies?

Child: Weeeewwww!

Mommy: Wow!  Playing with blocks is fun.  Can I make something for you?

Child: Yes.

Mommy: What would you like me to make?

Child: Tiger.

Mommy: You want me to make a tiger?  Okay, I will try.  Here you are - a tiger.

Child: Yeah!

Mommy: Playing with blocks is fun, right?

Child: Yes. 

Mommy: Do you want to play again tomorrow?

Child: Yes.
