A      : Mom, B won’t share his snack with me.

Mom : Why?

A       : He is stingy. When I have snack I always give him some/share it with him but he doesn’t do  

            the same. / He doesn’t pay me back(*1).

Mom : O.K call B to talk/speak with me.

B      : (present) Did you call me?/Did you ask A to call me?

Mom : Yes. I would like to know if it is true that you didn’t share your snack with him.

B      : Yes, but I have just a little bit and it’s not enough to share with him.

Mom : No matter how little you have (got*2). You should share every time you have snack.

          Be nice with him.

          This morning he shared his snack with you and you should do the same too/as well.   

          Remember that you have to treat people in the way you want to be treated.(*3)

          If you want other people to treat you well you should treat people well first. Got it!

B      : O.K

Mom : Now you are talking(*4). /Now you understood what I said. Thank you.

3. treat people in the way you want to be treated อยากให้คนอื่นปฏิบัติตัวต่อเราอย่างไร เราก็ต้องปฏิบัติแบบที่เราต้องการต่อเขาก่อน เช่นอยากให้เขาทำดีกับเรา เราก็ต้องทำดีกับเขาก่อน

ภาษาอังกฤษแปลตรงตัวคงไม่ได้ความหมายแบบที่เราต้องการนะคะ  

ปกติ ถ้าพูดแล้วเขารู้เรื่อง คุณแม่จะพูดว่า   Good  บ้าง  Thank a lot บ้าง  ตอนนี้ได้คำพูดเพิ่มอีกแล้ว    ขอบคุณนะคะ

Hot temper        

 

Mom is driving the car and her son is sitting in/on the back seat. He is having his breakfast.

Mom : Are you finished eating?/ Have you finished eating?

Kid      : (no answer)

Mom : Are you done?  Please eat all of your food. Some people don’t have enough food to eat, for example the people in Ethiopia. They are starving. They are so skinny that you can see their ribs but they have got big stomachs because of lack of nutrients.　（Then teach him in Jap with the same content）

Kid    : (no answer)

Mom : Honey ! I asked you/I am asking you. Why don’t you answer me? Can’t you hear me? I know you’re pretending not to hear me. Right?

Kid     : What? What did you say?

Mom : I’ve asked you so many times. (shouts at him)

Why don’t you pay attention to me? /Why do you ignore me?/ Why are you ignoring me?

Do you have anything on your mind? Has anything upset you. Please tell me.

Kid :   tut tut (เวลาหงุดหงิด  จะทำเสียง จึ๊ จื๊อ ที่ปาก (สะกดถูกหรือเปล่าน๊า ไม่แน่ใจค่ะ) แต่ภาษาอังกฤษ จะเขียน tut  tut )

Mom : Hey! stop saying that. It’s impolite. Behave yourself. If you say  “tut tut “ how can I understand you.

If you were me what would you think? Sometimes I might be fussy. You may think that I am too fussy but actually I am not. I may teach you the same content in both English and Japanese. You may think it is annoying to keep saying the same thing. But whatever I do, I do it for you because I love you.

 I want to make sure that you eat all of your food so you will grow strong and healthy. Please try to understand me.

Put yourself in my shoes and you will know how I feel.

Evening

Mom : Honey! I am so sorry that I shouted at you this morning. I should not have done that/ I should not have shouted at you./ I shouldn’t have been so hot tempered/ I shouldn’t have lost my temper but you hurt my feelings/but I was frustrated with you.

I should have stayed calm and listened to you./ I should have calmed down and left you alone.

Please forgive me. It’s not a good example so don’t copy me. O.K?

จริงๆแล้ว ประโยคบทสนทนาที่ทะเลาะกับคุณลูกนี่ หาในinternetก็แทบจะไม่เจอเลย

ก็เลยลองนำเสนอดูเผื่อใครจะอ่านไว้ศึกษาดู แต่ไม่จำเป็นต้องนำไปใช้หรอกค่ะ เพราะคุณลูกคือของขวัญจากพระเจ้า

ทะเลาะกันบ่อยๆก็คงไม่สนุกแน่ :)
