"let" จะมีความหมายในทางกว้าง ๆ;  หากเป็น พ่อแม่ คุณครู คนที่อยู่เหนือเรา  "อนุญาต" ให้เราทำอะไรซักอย่าง จะใช้  "allow"  ครับจะตรงตัวกว่าครับ

ตามความเห็นนะคะ ใช้ let ก็ได้ค่ะ เพราะ let ตรงนี้แปลความหมายเหมือน allow ค่ะ แต่เป็น
