[Caillou]: Look at my car!
[Leo]: I made an igloo.
[Caillou]: what did you make, Clementine?
[Clementine]: It's a field of flowers!
[Miss Martin]: okay, everyone, it's time to clean up.
[All]: okay.
[Miss Martin]: we'll do more crafts tomarrow and speaking of tomorrow, class, we are also going to have
Show and Tell.
[other kids]: Yay!
[Miss Martin]: Yes, Caillou?
[Caillou]: Miss Martin, what's Show and Tell?
[Miss Martin]: It means that you bring something from home to show the class, and then you tell us why you
think it's special.

[Miss Martin]: Certainly! You can bring anything you wish.
[Leo]: I know what I'm going to bring!

[Clementine]: Mine's a surprise too.
[Narrator]: Caillou didn't know what he was going to bring. He whished he knew what Leo and Clementine
were bringing.
[Narrator]: Caillou really wanted to find an extra special surprise to take for Show and Tell.
[Rosie]: Hmm…Rexy! Hee! Hee! Hee!
[Caillou]: No, I don't want to bring Rexy. Everyone's already seen him.
[Rexy squeaking] Roar!!! Hee! Hee!
[Caillou]: Wouldn't it be great if Rexy was a real dinosaur?

[Caillou]: Green means go!
[Rexy roaring]
[All kids]: wow! Look at that!
[Caillou]: Hi, Miss Martin! I brought my dinosaur Rexy for Show and Tell.
[Miss Martin]: My goodness!
[Caillou]: Who wants a ride?
[Children]: I do! Yeah! Whee!
[Clementine]: This is the best Show and tell ever!
[Rosie]: Mousie! Hee, Hee!
[Rexy squeaking]
[Caillou]: No, I want something that will be a surprise!
[Rosie]: surprise!
[Rosie]:surprise! Caillou!
[Caillou’s mom] : What are you two up to?
[Caillou]:I'm trying to find a special surprise for Show and Tell tomorrow.
[Caillou’s mom] : Ha! Ha! Why don't you choose three things and you can practice your Show and Tell on us
after supper--Maybe that will help you decide.

[Narrator]: Caillou thought that was a very good idea, and went back to pick out his three favorite toys.
[Narrator]: After dinner Caillou had a practice Show and Tell.
[Caillou]: This is Rexy. He's a dinosaur, and he has big teeth,but he isn't mean.
[Caillou]: He's my favorite toy! Hee! Hee! Hee!
[Caillou]: The next surprise is…My kite! I took my kite to the park and flew it really high!
[Rosie]: Rosie fly-a-kite! Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha!
[Caillou]: And for my last surprise…My fire truck! I like it because the ladder goes up and the lights flash when
I push it around.. So? Which one did you like best?
[Caillou's dad]: I thought all of them were pretty special. Especially Rexy because he's a dinosaur.
[Caillou]: But Rexy won't be a surprise for Leo.
[Caillou’s mom] : I like your kite.
[Narrator]: But Caillou remembered that Clementine was with him the day he flew his kite.
[Caillou]: It won't be a surprise for Clementine.
[Caillou's dad]: Maybe not, but for everyone else it will be.
[Caillou's dad]: Well, there's always your fire truck.
[Narrator]: But Caillou still wasn't sure what to take for show and Tell.
[Caillou’s mom] : Why don't you sleep on it tonight and decide tomorrow?
[Caillou]: Sleep on my fire truck?
[Caillou’s mom] :Ha! Ha! Ha! No, that's an expression that means go to bed with the question in your mind
and in the morning after a good night's sleep, maybe you'll know what you want to do.
[Rosie]: Surprise! Caillou! Aaan!
[Narrator]: But the next morning, Caillou still did not know which toy would make the best surprise.
[Rosie]: Caillou sad?
[Caillou]: I don't know what to bring Rosie. Miss Martin said we could bring anything we want.
[Caillou]: But I really want it to be a surprise for everyone.
[Caillou]:Daddy! Daddy!
[Caillou's dad]: What?
[Caillou]: Can you do something for me?
[Caillou's dad]: Sure! What is it?
[Leo]: And my grandfather used this compass whenever he went camping so he wouldn’t get lost.
[Clementine]: Miss Martin! My lucky cricket isn't in its cage!
[Kids]: oh no! [Cricket chirring]
[Leo]: I got it !
[Clementine]: Thanks!
[Miss Martin]:Well done!
[Narrator]: With Clementine's lucky cricket back in its cage, it was now Caillou's turn for Show and Tell.
[Caillou's dad]: Caillou?
[Caillou]: My Show and Tell is bigger that everyone else's.
[Rosie]: SURPRISE!
[All surprised then laughing]
[Caillou]: I was going to bring one of my toys, but my sister Rosie is even more fun to play with than my toys.
