Where does rain come from?

Water vapor rises into the sky, where the air is colder than below. The cold makes the tiny water drops join together into bigger, heavier drops. The drops aren't invisible now - they've become clouds. When clouds get too full of these big heavy drops, they break apart and fall to the ground as raindrops.
