This is a dialogue request from a parent. I hope it will be useful. I have never been to a farm in Thailand, including Chokchai Farms. I have been to many plantations. If you think I should change the dialogue to make it better for Thai farms, please let me know.
Daddy: Today we are going some place fun.
Daddy: Today we are going to a farm. Can you say “farm”?
Daddy: Excellent! Do you know what a farm is?
Daddy: A farm is where many animals live. Do you like animals?
Daddy: We will see many animals today. Are you ready to go?
Daddy: Let’s go to the farm. Here is the farm.
Daddy: Do you see any animals?
Daddy: What animals do you see?
Daddy: What does a cow say?
Child: Moo moo.
Daddy: That’s right. A cow says “moo moo.” Let’s look for other animals.
Child: A pig!
Daddy: There’s a pig. What color is it?
Daddy: That’s right. It’s a pink pig.
Child: Oink oink.
Daddy: Very good. A pig says “oink oink.” What’s that animal over there?
Daddy: Yes, it’s a horse. Do you know what you can do with horses?
Daddy: You can sit on their backs and ride them. You sit and the horse will walk around. You can tell the horse where to go. Do you want to try it?
Daddy: Daddy will walk next to you. It will be fun.
Daddy: Very good. I am going to lift you up onto the horse.
Daddy: This horse is very sweet. He is very calm.
Daddy: Are you ready for the horse to walk?
Daddy: Alright, I am going to lead the horse around.
Daddy: It’s fun, right?
Daddy: Where do you want to go?
Child: That way.
Daddy: Very good. I will lead the horse over to the tree. You’re steering the horse. Good job!
Daddy: I think the horse is tired now. Why don’t you come down and we can do something else.
Daddy: Say thank you to the horse.
Child: Thank you, horse.
Daddy: Very nice. Now we have seen the animals. Do you know what else they have on a farm?
Daddy: They have many plants! Let’s look at the plants. Tell me what you see.
Daddy: Yes, I see some trees too. Very good. What other plants do you see?
Daddy: Yes, there are the flowers. What’s that over there?
Child: Hmmm, I don’t know.
Daddy: Those are called crops. The farmers plant seeds in the ground in straight rows. Do you see the rows?
Daddy: Later the seeds will grow and grow. Some seeds become corn. Other seeds become wheat.
Child: I like corn.
Daddy: Me too! Farmers make lots of food that we eat. Do you want to go see the crops?
Daddy: You can touch the corn.
Daddy: Maybe later we can eat some corn. Do you want to do that?
Daddy: Do you like being on a farm?
Daddy: Me too!
