->  ใช้ sooner  ทั้ง 2 วลีเลยก็ได้ครับ  The sooner you finish it, the sooner you'll get to play.

2.ยิ่งเสร็จช้า ก้อได้ไปเล่นช้า

The more slowly you do the worksheet, tha later you'll get to play.

->  ได้ครับ

3. มันแตกง่าย (เช่น แก้ว ของเล่นบางอย่าง) ใช้

->  คำว่า "แตกง่าย"  ใช้ได้ทั้ง "fragile" และอีกคำคือ "breakable"  ซึ่งต่างกันตรงที่ว่า fragile จะใช้กับของที่ "ไม่แข็งแรง"  ซึ่งของนั้นจะทำด้วยวัสดุอะไรก็แล้วแต่   ส่วน breakable  ก็ใช้กับของที่ทำด้วย แก้ว หรือวัสดุอื่น ๆ ที่ "แตกหักได้"    อย่างเช่น  Raw egg is fragile  ส่วน  Beer mug is breakable   จะเห็นความแตกต่างครับ

ดังนั้น ของเล่นที่แตกได้ หากทำตก ก็ใช้ it's (easily) breakable ก็ได้ครับ

4. เปิดเป็นระบบสั่น (มือถือ) จะได้ไม่มีเสียงโทรศัพท์ดังรบกวนตอนนนอน

->  Turn vibration on so you won't be disturbed by the ring tone in your sleep.

5. ปิด wifi ของมือถือเวลาไม่ใช้ จะได้ไม่เปลืองแบต

->  อาจจะเปลี่ยนนิดนึงเป็น  Turning off the wifi on the mobile phone when you don't use it will save battery (power).

6. เสียงเปรี๊ยะๆเวลาที่เราเสียบปลั๊กแล้วตัวเต้ารับมันหลวม ทำให้มีเสียงดังเปรี๊ยะๆ อย่างนี้ใช้ว่า

->  เปลี่ยน disability เป็น disabled ก็ใช้ได้ครับ

keep an eye on = to look after someone or something อันนี้เข้าใจว่า ดูแล

keep your eye on = to keep looking at something, especially to avoid making mistake.อันนี้เข้าใจว่า จับตามอง จ้องมองไว้

ใช่ไหมคะ อย่างนั้นกรณีจับตามองเฝ้าตอนเผาหญ้า สามารถใช้ keep your eye on ได้ด้วยไหมคะ

= to look after someone or something and make sure that they are safe 

(และ หากใช้กับ situation มีอีกความหมายคือ to watch a situation carefully over a period of time, especially so that you are prepared for anything bad that might happen) 

 

- Mary will keep an eye on the kids this afternoon.

- We keep a watchful eye on our elderly neighbors.

 

สำนวนนี้ผมคิดว่าตรงกับที่จะใช้กับเฝ้าดูกองไฟไม่ให้ลาม   ซึ่งใน thefreedictionary.com  บอกว่า keep an eye on something/somebody  ใช้ได้อีกแบบคือ  keep your eye on something/somebody   ดังนั้นก็สรุปใช้ได้ทั้ง 2 แบบครับ

 

 "keep your eye on somebody"  ยังมีความหมายอีกความหมายเวลาใช้กับคนคือ  "คอยเฝ้าดูบางคน เพราะเราไม่ไว้ใจเขา"  ตามที่ Longman dictionary ให้ไว้อีกอย่างตามนี้ครับ

 

4. have/keep your eye on somebody

=   to carefully watch everything that someone does, especially because you do not trust them:

- We want Taylor in jail where we can keep an eye on him.

 

ในตัวอย่างใช้ an eye on   แสดงว่าก็ใช้ได้ทั้ง an eye  และ your eye  ครับ
