1. การใช้ another one  &  other one   ต่างกันอย่างไร

   another  มีของ 2 อย่าง ถ้าไม่เลือกอันที่ 1  ก็ต้องเลือกอีกอันที่เหลือ

   other   มีของหลายอย่าง  ถ้าไม่เลือกอันที่ 1  ก็ต้องเลือกอันอื่นๆ ที่เหลือ

2. เรากินผลไม้ที่หลากหลาย เราก็จะได้รับสารอาหารที่หลากหลายด้วย

    We eat the different kind of fruit, we will get the different kind of nutrient too.

3. เราใช้คำว่า   the variety kind of fruit   แทน  the different kind of fruit   ในข้อ 2  ได้หรือไม่

other + หลายอย่าง/หลายสิ่ง/หลายคน/หลายตัว

another + ของเพียงหนึ่งชิ้น/หนึ่งคน/หนึ่งตัว

 

another  มาจาก an + other ค่ะ คือ เจาะจงขอแค่หนึ่งค่ะ

 

เช่น Can i have another cup of coffee? ขอกาแฟอีกแก้วหนึ่งครับ

     I don't like this book? Do you have another one? คือ อาจจะมีหลายเล่มก็ได้ แต่ชั้นขอเล่มเดียว

     You can use that pen, i have another. ฉันมีอีกด้าม เธอใช้ปากกาด้ามนั้นได้เลย

 

other >>>> Do you want to have more coffee like the others? คุณจะรับกาแฟเพิ่มเหมือนนอื่นๆไหม

                  I don't think this book. Do you have other books? คุณมีเล่มอื่นๆ(ขอหลายๆเล่ม)ไหม

 

++++ ที่น่าจำคือ another ตามด้วยวลีที่ขึ้นต้นด้วยเลขได้ เช่น

I’ll need another three days to finish the work.

She’s borrowed another £20.

 

อาจจะเป็นเพราะว่า 1 วลีนั่น นับเป็นหนึ่งก้อนมั้งคะ

 

2  If we eat various kinds of fruit, we will get various kinds of nutrition.

 

If we eat the different kind of fruit, we will get the different kind of nutrition.

อันนี้แปลประมาณว่า ถ้าเราทานผลไม้ต่างชนิดกัน ก็จะได้สารอาหารต่างชนิดกันค่ะ

 

ใช้คำว่า various ขยายคำนาม fruit ค่ะ

ถ้าอยากใช้คำว่า Variety ให้ใช่ว่า variety of fruit

 

If we eat variety of fruit, we will get variety of nutrition.
