Actually, there are lots of English vocabulary to use depends on that situation.
I don't think it's wrong if you do not use the same vocabulary as long as the listener can understand what you're trying to say.
1. It's hot outside, just don't go out.
2. There's sunlight here. Let's play somewhere else!
3. You are diligent. , clever girl/boy
4. Fill up a bottle of water
5. No water runs from the tap.
6. pick off some vegetable
7. Are you done chewing?
8. Are you full? / Are you finished? / Are you finished having your.......?
9. Don't you want / eat / take some more?
